Riding since the age of four Judd Henkes has definitely the potential to represent the United States at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

At the age of 15, this teenage shredder had quite some impressive results already in his debut World Cup season. The San Diego based rider placed 17th in the Copper Mtn halfpipe event and finished 4th and 10th in the slopestyle contests staged in Mammoth Mountain and Spindleruv Mlyn.

Needless to say that he earned junior worlds Silver in slopestyle in the Czech Republic in 2017, too, after being honoured to represent his home country at the 2017 world champs in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

However, as Henkes, who spends his winter time in Mammoth Mountain, will be facing some tough in-house competition to make one of the four Olympic spots for PyeongChang, US Snowboardings hopes are definitely pinned on his shoulders for 2022 – at least.
