Kreischberg

A relatively small resort located in the Styria region of Austria, Kreischberg lays claim to having one of the largest halfpipes in Europe, and its slopes are re-known as a haven for freestylers of both, the ski and snowboard persuasions.
The resort has a history of hosting World Cup events dating back to 1997.
From snowboard cross to halfpipe, to big air, to parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom, to slopestyle, the host of two world championships (2003, 2015) has shown itself capable of putting on a show in a diverse range of events - a distinction that will no-doubt be proven once again in 2017 when Kreischberg will play host to the 2016-17 season's slopestyle World Cup opener.
Nice side story: In 2006 and 2010 the later on Olympic PGS champions (Daniela Meuli and Philipp Schoch as well as Nicolien Sauerbreij and Jasey Jay Anderson) won the parallel giant slalom at Kreischberg.
