LAAX OPEN back in January

Winter will be around soon again in Central Europe. And with it, the high-class snowboard event LAAX OPEN.

From January 15 to 20, 2018, the resort of Laax, Switzerland, a leading host and organiser of freestyle events for decades, will return with one of the world's most respected events.

Its Hall of Fame includes Olympic champions Shaun White (USA), Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI), Kelly Clark (USA) and Jamie Anderson (USA), as well as Ayumu Hirano (JPN), Danny Davis (USA), Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), Mark McMorris (CAN) and Ståle Sandbech (NOR), along with Enni Rukajärvi (FIN), Chloe Kim (USA), Arielle Gold (USA), Christy Prior (NZL) and Sina Candrian (SUI), to name just a few of the past decade's winners.

And the world’s best will be coming back to compete in the famous LAAX OPEN which will be the last chance for freestyle snowboarders to earn their spot for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea as the official qualification period ends on January 21, 2018.
