Annika Morgan and Patric Cinca have crowned themselves German Big Air Champions at Friday's Europa Cup event staged at Goetschen, Bischofswiesen (GER).

Morgan, only 15 years of age but shredding since nine years now, had already been safe of taking home the title entering the event as sole female rider from Snowboard Germany.

However, the younger sister of Ethan Morgan who represented Germany at the 2009 world championships placing eighth in the big air event, impressed with a third rank finish behind of Louise Nordstroem (SWE) and Lea Jugovac (CRO).

“I'm super happy finishing in third position. That was a big surprise for me,” she said.

Over in the men's event of the Shred Down German Masters, no local shredder made it on the podium but Patrick Cinca came close a fourth of the finals behind of Stef Vanderweyer (BEL), Nicolas Huber (SUI) and Nicola Liviero (ITA).

Cinca therefore earned the national title with a cab 1080 mute and a frontside 900 indy.

Noah Vicktor placed second stomping a cab 1080 nose to indy double grab as well as a frontside 1080 whilst Leon Guetl rounded out the podium in third position.
