Seiser Alm set to host final stop of the slopestyle World Cup tour

While the qualifiers of the Seiser Alm Legends event are slated to take place on Thursday at 8:45 CET, the best qualifiers will go for the last podium of the season on Saturday at 12:30 CET.

Six ladies and ten men will make the qualifier cut to compete in the finals of this winter's ultimate slopestyle show down taking place in the resort's famous snow park in a three-run, best one count format.

Like last year, the local shaper crew has build a 600 metres long course on the bottom part of the park's Pro Line which consists of a jibbing section with three different features as well as a three-kicker jump line.

More than two months after the second World Cup stop went down in Snowmass, USA and two months after the LAAX Open slopestyle had to be called off due to the severe weather, riders will finally get their season's third event in the books which is mandatory to have a Word Cup title decision.

With only two competitions counting for the title battle so far, the race for the crystal globe is still a very open one with Japanese teenage sensation Reira Iwabuchi (JPN, 1,300) and Olympic Champion Redmond Gerard (USA, 1,450) leading the respective ladies' and men's standings.
