Winter Games NZ are gearing up for next season

While the Northern Hemisphere's winter season is coming to an end with the last chances for some spring shredding here and there, the Southern Hemisphere is already preparing for one of the world's top five international winter sports events.

The 2018-19 World Cup will kick off again in New Zealand with the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ, an event with growing importance of for the scene. 25 out of 30 of the 2018 Olympic Park and Pipe medals went to athletes who competed at the 2017 Winter Games NZ.

This coming August and September will feature the FIS Junior Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships 2018 as centre piece of the Winter Games NZ.

Other prestigious competitions within the Games framework are the FIS World Cup Big Air events in freestyle skiing and snowboarding at Cardrona Alpine Resort guaranteeing that not only the cream of the world's finest talents will travel across the pond but also the world's best snowboarders and skiers.
