It was a banger of a week out there in internetworld, with the good, the bad, and the gnarly all coming down the content pipeline fast and furious for the last seven days. As always, there was way too much tasty stuff for you to digest all at once, but us here at Monday Mix HQ will do our best here to narrow it down once again this week.

First up this week is one you have no-doubt already seen and no-doubt already love*, as the inimiatble Rene Rennekangas blew up everybody's spot with this corked bs 450 boardslide 270 out. Make sure to check the comments to see every single one of your favourite snowboarders losing their minds over this one...

*if you HAVEN'T seen this, please let us know which rock you've been living under so we can knock on your door next time something cool goes down.

As if that wasn't enough Finnish flavour for you, the very next thing we found on the feed was Mikko Rehnberg ALSO getting all corky-slippy-spinny on us, dropping a frontside rodeo 450 board to 270 out...🤯

Seriously, what's going on with the Finns? Someone's gotta tell them it's August and everybody else is way too hot to be processing this kinda stuff right now...

Phew. Lots to digest there. Better wipe the slate clean with a nice big method before we move on to the next piece, so here's Werni Stock with the best backside cranker you'll see all day, all week, and maybe all month...

Speaking of wiping the slate clean, here's two clips from Maddie Mastro:

  1. Getting absolutely buckled after under-rotating her signature dub crippler.

And,

  1. Stomping the thing so clean it's hard to believe she's doing one of the absolute toughest tricks you'll see in women's pipe competition.

Never give up, kids.

Up next we've got Mia Brookes stunting all over the indoor park at Snowdome. Ms. Brookes is quickly becoming one of the steeziest riders in the world, and every trick in this edit is 😙👌 *chef's kiss* good...

More indoor action, this time from Evy Poppe, who's been getting her reps in back home in the Netherlands...

We're going to take it off snow for a minute now, because there was plenty of summertime board riding fun happening out there last week, as you might expect from mid-August.

Take Mark McMorris, for instance. As it turns out, Sparky can skate, not that we should be surprised by this fact in any way at all...

Also ripping on four wheels? Sean Fitzsimons. Speed, power, style...the man's got it all. Fun stuff.

Meanwhile, Liam Brearley has also been on board a non-snowboard, this time in wake form. We don't know a ton about wakeboarding, but we're pretty sure that 900s are pretty good in the wake world. And we're also pretty sure that it's hard to ollie on wakeboard - especially into an up-rail.

Keep in mind this is all one line...

If you only ride one ski, does it kind of count as a board? We say 'maybe,' so here's Ester Ledecka showing us once again that there's pretty much nothing she doesn't do well...

A post shared by Ester Ledecká (@esterledecka)

And then we've got this one from Sven Thorgren to take the intensity down a bit. Looks like he's got an electric hydrofoil? Whatever's going on, all he needs is that bottle of cranberry juice to fully live out his meme dreams here...

A post shared by Sven Thorgren (@sventhorgren)

While we could really round out the alternative board-shredding with a clip of Dusty Henricksen surfing some hypermellow waves, maybe we'd rather watch him toss down a smooth bs 10 on snow...

Unfortunately for some of our friends south of the boarder, it's looking like the winter season is temporarily on hold in Australia and New Zealand due to lockdowns and restrictions. Thankfully Tess Coady was able to bless us with this edit as we wait for southern hemisphere lifts to start spinning again...

Wondering what Tess's compatriot Scotty James has been up to lately? Elvis-influenced dryland training, that's what...

A couple of still photos for you to savour now, including this beauty from Katie Ormerod, who's currenlty on the scene in Saas Fee and getting it while it's good...

A post shared by Katie Ormerod (@ormerodkatie)

And this one is courtesy of Aussie SBX coach Harald Benselin. We're pretty sure this is Belle Brockhoff, but regardless of who it is, it sure is pretty...

A post shared by Harald Benselin (@haraldbenselin)

And Alexander Payer, who's back on snow in Cervinia and arcing some turns through the late-summer slush...

A post shared by 🇦🇹🏂🏿 Alexander Payer (@alexanderpayer)

And, finally, Niek van der Velden and Casper Wolf, as the two flying Dutchmen team up for a couple of tandem front 3's in Saas Fee...

A couple news tidbits for the day as we get towards the end of this week's Mix, including from the season-opening World Cup host in Switzerland. The Big Air Chur is slated to go down on October 23, where not only will the world's very best be looking to start the Olympic season on the high, but also a pretty hype line-up of musical artists will be on site to bring the tunes. Swipe through below for some more info...

And shout out to Sarka Pancochova, who tied the knot with her partner Cindy last week. Congrats, you two!

We'll finish things up this week with this clip from snowboard superdad Mark Grilc and his daughter, as we straightline it on outta here with smiles on our faces for the week ahead...

A post shared by Marko Grilc (@grilo)

Hope you enjoyed this week's mix, and all the best for the coming days. Stay smiling out there, even if it is under a mask 😷🤙.
