We’re just four weeks away from the start of the 2024/25 FIS Park & Pipe big air World Cup season, which is set to get underway in Switzerland from 18-19 October 2024 at the Big Air Chur festival once again.

This season’s Big Air Chur will mark the fourth straight season we’ve kicked the big air World Cup off at the capital of Switzerlands Graubunden canton, and once again the freeski competition on 18 October and the snowboard competition on 19 October will be going down as part of a massive weekend of snow sport, music, art and parties.

Along with freeski qualifications and finals, Friday’s programme at the Big Air Chur will see Germany’s Bonez MC in the headline spot on the big stage, with the likes of $oho Bani, Mehnersmoos and Lou Kaena also hitting the big stage over the course of the day.

For snowboard day on Saturday we’ll be treated to Paul Kalkbrenner shutting down the main stage in the headline spot, while Nemo, Wanda, 77 Bombay Street and Happy For Real will all take a turn in the Saturday spotlight.

Throw in a whole host of DJ sets, VIP lounges, side activities and attractions and you’ve got all the makings of another huge weekend in Chur this October.

The Big Air Chur will be the first of five snowboard and six freeski big air World Cups set to go down in the 2024/25 season, with Beijing (CHN) following from 29 November to 01 December, the Big Air Klagenfurt (AUT) from 03-05 January, and then Kreischberg (AUT) from 09-11 January.

The snowboard big air World Cup season will then wrap up at the VISA Big Air Aspen (USA), where the battle for the crystal globes will come to a head from 05-06 February. Following that, it will be the freeski big air season-finale in Tignes at the Mountain Shaker, going down from 11-14 March.

Needless to say, it’s going to be a big season on the big jumps, and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling in just four weeks time at the Big Air Chur.
