As the 2025 FIS Telemark World Championships unfold in Les Contamines (FRA), attention is already shifting to Thyon 4 Vallées (SUI), where the 2024/25 FIS Telemark World Cup Finals will take place from 27–29 March.

Hosting the season finale for the third time, Thyon is set to welcome the world’s best Telemark athletes to the iconic “La Matze” slope. Renowned for its snow reliability and dedication to elite winter sports, the resort has fine-tuned every detail to deliver a world-class event. A newly installed lift will bring spectators closer to the action, while the meticulously prepared course—featuring the discipline’s signature jumps and the technical “Loom” turn—will push athletes to their limits before the Crystal Globes are awarded. While separate starting points ensure the required altitude differences for each competition format, the course is designed for efficiency, allowing athletes to reach the Sprint finish in just five minutes.

Beyond the competition, the Finals showcase Telemark’s deep-rooted tradition and promising future. The local club Mouch'Paba, home to legends like Amélie Wenger-Reymond—the record-holder of the most World Cup wins across all FIS disciplines—and Bastien Dayer, a multiple World Champion, plays a key role in supporting the event. With more than 30 young athletes training in Telemark, Mouch'Paba runs one of the sport’s largest youth development programs. The Finals will serve as a platform to inspire the next generation and bring greater visibility to the discipline.
