Freestyle World Cup back in action in 2019

Font Romeu will host the second slopestyle World Cup of the season on January 10-12.

Following the holidays break the FIS Freestyle & Freeski World Cup tours are finally set to be back in action again this week and here's a little look ahead to what January 2019 has in store.

Kicking things off on the freeski side, the second stop of the slopestyle World Cup tour is set to take place on the French side of Pyrenees in Font Romeu on January 10-12.

Over in Calgary at the WinSport's Canada Olympic Park the moguls specialist will compete on January 11-12.

Switching into the following week the aerialists will kick off their season with the first event in Lake Placid (USA) on January 18-19, while the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup tour will take on the course in Idre (SWE) with back-to-back races on January 19-20.

From Idre the ski cross athletes will travel to Blue Mountain (CAN) where they will race again on January 25-26.

The moguls World Cup will also stay in Canada with the second stop in 2019 taking place in Tremblant on January 26.

Last but not least the freeski tour will be back in Seiser Alm for the third World Cup stop of the season slated to take place on January 25-27, just before everyone's attention turn to the Utah 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Chapionships starting on February 1.
