Slopestyle qualifiers go down at Stubai

The slopestyle qualifiers went down with a bang on Thursday at the second edition of the FIS Freeski slopestyle World Cup event held at the worldwide well-known Stubai resort located in a stunning region of Tyrol, Austria.

It was a long and exciting day at the first slopestyle event of the season, with nearly 100 athletes checking in early in the morning to compete in best-of-two runs qualifications, ready to battle for spots in the finals slated to go down on Friday.

In the ladies' competition it was Kelly Sildaru (EST) who outscored rest of the pack with a highscore of 97.00 points, while over on the men's side it was William Borm (USA), Jesper Tjader (SWE) and Oscar Wester (SWE)to win their respective heats, leading the field of top 8 ladies and 18 top men into the Friday's finals set for 10:00 CET!
