Weber claims “surprise” PCR victory in Oslo
Mar 14, 2025·Nordic CombinedThe Men’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Oslo (NOR) got underway with the Provisional Competition Round (PCR) on the iconic Holmenkollbakken HS 134. Under clear blue skies, 50 athletes from 11 nations took to the hill, setting the stage for an exciting competition weekend.
Germany’s Terence Weber delivered the standout performance of the day, soaring 133 meters to secure victory with 124.7 points. His impressive jump edged out Norway’s Overall World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber, who landed at 128 meters and accumulated 123.8 points for second place. Austria’s Johannes Lamparter followed closely behind, finishing third with a 127.5-meter jump and 121.5 points.
With the world’s best Nordic Combined athletes in top form, the stage is set for a thrilling weekend of competition at Holmenkollen Ski Festival.
