Westvold Hansen wins women's inaugural PCR at Holmenkollen

The Women’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Oslo (NOR) kicked off with the first-ever Provisional Competition Round (PCR) on the iconic Holmenkollbakken HS 134. Under bright sunshine, 26 athletes from nine nations took to the hill, marking a milestone in women’s Nordic Combined history.

Norwegian standout Gyda Westvold Hansen delivered the best performance of the day, soaring 125 meters to claim victory with 100.4 points. Her strong showing sets a promising tone for the upcoming competition weekend.

Her compatriot and Junior World Champion Ingrid Laate secured second place with an impressive 123-meter jump, earning 96.9 points. Austria’s Lisa Hirner completed the podium with a jump of 112 meters, totaling 85.8 points.

With this strong start, the stage is set for an exciting final weekend of competition at Holmenkollen, as the world’s best Nordic Combined women battle for the last World Cup points of the season.
