Exactly today three weeks from now the first qualifying runs of the 2019/20 Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup season will be going down in Europe´s highest ski resort, Val Thorens (FRA) on Dec 5, followed by back-to-back race action on Dec 6 and 7.

Traditionally, the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup season will kick-off with its highly anticipated Cross Alps Tour – 6 races in 4 resorts within 17 days - which means, athletes have to be in really good shape for this intense pre-Christmas tour.

Since the first competitions of last season in Val Thorens had to be cancelled due to lack of snow, this year promises much better conditions. Val Thorens resort has recently communicated snowfall and the very positive development of slope preparations. So, the signs for a 2019/20 ski cross competition are very promising.

The New Year will continue with races in Nakiska (CAN), Idre Fjäll (SWE), Megève (FRA), Feldberg (GER), Sunny Valley (RUS) and wrap-up in Veysonnaz (SUI) for a grand finale.
