Premiere victory for Anna Odine Stroem in Ljubno

Last day of the year and first win for Anna Odine Stroem in Ljubno. Norwegian jumped on 91.5 and 90.5 meters and scored 259.7 points. She was just 0.9 points ahead of Eva Pinkelnig (90.5 and 93.5 m; 258.8 points), who had won the two previous competitions as part of the Silvester Tournament. Third place went to German ski jumper Katharina Althaus with 90 and 85.5 meters and 247 points.

Ema Klinec came fourth and was the best Slovenian just 0.4 points off the podium, while teammate Nika Kriznar also struggled with sixth. Much happier was Sara Takanashi, who jumped from 15th to fifth place in the final. Chiara Kreuzer was the best Austrian in seventh place and achieved her best result of the season.

Luisa Görlich even celebrated her best career result with eighth place. Bogataj as the third best Slovenian and Yuka Seto as the second best Japanese completed the top ten. Selina Freitag, who jumped 94 meters on the hill size of the Logarska-Dolina hill in the second round - and that despite a shortening by national coach Maximilian Mechler with her bad landing she was not able to keep the highposition.

Qualification winner Alexandria Loutitt was also well on the way to the top positions, a slip in the final round cost her the balance and the judges deducted a whopping 18 places for the fall, which threw her back to 24th place. Sara Marita Kramer was also visibly disappointed with 18th place, the second-best ÖSV result today. Meanwhile, Hannah Wiegele was able to live much better with 28th place.

The same was true for the Slovenian Nika Vetrih, who collected her first World Cup point in 30th place. In the meantime, the Italian Jessica Malsiner was eliminated in a curious way: She had the same number of points as Nika Prevc, who made it into the final, but in contrast to Malsiner she had won her duel.

There were also no points for both Swiss women. Emely Torazza (35th) and Sina Arnet (36th) lost their respective knockout duels, but Torazza was able to finish ahead of her teammate for the first time and still achieved her best World Cup result. The Slovenians Ajda Kosnjek and Taja Bodlaj on ranks 38 and 40 also achieved best, because first World Cup results. For their team colleague Tinkara Komar, 43rd place was also a best performance.

In the overall ranking of the New Year's Eve Tour, Eva Pinkelnig (776.9 points) leads with 23.3 points ahead of Anna Odine Stroem (753.6) and Katharina Althaus (740.7).
