Hofmeister and Huber take all German final in season finale
Mar 16, 2025·Snowboard AlpineIt was a dream finale to the 2024-25 VISA FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup for Ramona Theresia Hofmeister (GER). She continued her run of form by carrying her team to the top of the podium on home snow in the mixed team event in Winterberg on Sunday.
It was an all-German big final as Germany 2 and Germany 1 blasted through the field for the showdown in front of the home crowd. Hofmeister teamed up with Elias Huber (GER) to take down their compatriots Cheyenne Loch (GER) and Stefan Baumeister (GER).

Baumeister took an early lead outdueling Huber in the first run, giving Germany 2 a 0.42 second advantage. That was not enough to hold off the formidable Hofmeister who used a speedy second-half of her run to take the victory.

The win was the 30th career World Cup victory for Hofmeister and her fourth in a team event. It was the second career win for Huber after his shock PGS victory in Val St. Come earlier this season. The two did not confirm if they will team up for the mixed team event in the world championships next week.
Baumeister makes a podium for the 30th time with 14 coming in team events. Loch made the podium for ninth time in her World Cup career.

Maurizio Bormolini (ITA) added another podium to his career season. He led Italy 1 to the final podium spot alongside Elisa Caffont (ITA). Bormolini made eight individual podiums this season including the final four races of the season.
Saturday’s individual PSL winners Mattheus Pink (AUT) and Sabine Payer (AUT) teamed up on Sunday but could not qualify for the final rounds. Payer won the only other team event this season in Bad Gastein alongside Andreas Prommegger (AUT).
