Erzurum qualifiers cancelled

Due to ongoing strong and gusty winds, today's training and qualifiers for the season's sixth snowboard cross race staged in Erzurum had to be called off.
It's the second consecutive day that the programme schedule fell prey to the severe weather situation in Turkey.
As riders did not have their mandatory training runs yet, race officials decided to not go for qualifiers tomorrow but to opt for an extension of the final's field since it would give all athletes enough training time to get to know the course.
Therefore, the time of the finals got postponed to 10:30 CET and will now take place right after training while also featuring a first.
As qualifiers had been declared off, finals will feature a field of 32 women and 64 men.
