FIS Officials together with representatives from the Local Organisers in Feldberg gave the go-head last Sunday for this season's fourth snowboard cross stop of the World Cup tour which will feature a double event of individual races this coming weekend.
Due to the fresh snow, sinking temperatures and a more stable weather forecasted than the ski cross community experienced last weekend, things are looking good for the second World Cup on the Seebuck face where the first ever sprint sbx events took place last year.
With the official go in the bag, course shapers immediately kicked off their work to re-design specific parts of the ski cross course into a boarder cross track.
With testing set for Wednesday and the official training for Thursday, there is plenty of snow and time left to give the course some more fine-tuning.
Qualifiers for the first sbx event will take place on Friday at 10:30 AM CET starting with the men. Finals will follow on Saturday 12 PM CET.
Sunday will then bring the second race with qualifiers scheduled for 9:00 AM CET and finals again for 12 PM CET.
