Les Deux Alpes, a stunning winter sports destination, is set to elevate the 2023/24 Snowboard Cross World Cup season by adding a second competition to its program. Following its successful debut on the SBX tour last season, Les Deux Alpes is gearing up to host not one, but two high-octane snowboard cross events.

The individual competition, scheduled for December 1-2, will kick off the action-packed weekend. Athletes will hit the slopes for qualifications on Friday, setting the stage for an intense race day on Saturday. This competition is expected to draw a diverse pool of talented riders, all vying for a strong start in the World Cup standings.

Building on the excitement, L2A has now also incorporated a mixed team event on Sunday, December 3. This new addition promises to add an extra layer of strategy and teamwork to the weekend's contests, as teams comprising both male and female riders will compete together. This format not only enhances the competitive spirit but also showcases the collaborative aspect of the sport.

Les Deux Alpes, known for its breathtaking Alpine landscape and top-notch facilities, is an ideal venue for this high-energy event. The resort’s commitment to hosting back-to-back SBX action underscores its growing importance in the snowboarding world and its dedication to providing thrilling sporting experiences.

As the countdown to December begins, both athletes and fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the SBX World Cup season. The addition of the mixed team event in Les Deux Alpes is a testament to the evolving nature of the sport and the continuous efforts to make it more dynamic and inclusive.

Stay tuned for what promises to be a weekend full of speed, skill, and snowboarding excitement at one of Europe's premier winter sports destinations.
