Positive Snow Control for Telemark World Cup La Thuile (ITA)

Two weeks before the kickoff of the FIS Wolrd Cup Telemark season, venue in La Thuile (ITA) passed the snow control. Acompanied by Valeria De Vecchi, head of the Organising Commitee and the Chief of Course, Corrado Garino, FIS delegate Urban Simčič had checked the conditions:
"There is more than 70 cm of hard packed, race-ready snow on the slopes. The weather situation looks favourable as well and I am looking forward to a perfect Classic and Sprint competition in La Thuile!"– Urban Simčič
The teams from Great Britain, USA and France are already taking advantage of perfect training conditions on a sunny slope put at their disposal by the Organising Committee.
Andrew Clarke, FIS Telemark Chairman tweeted:
"The conditions in La Thuile are extremely good and we are excited to see the organisers working hard to maintain optimum race conditions. We are delighted to see teams already training on the slopes. The FIS Telemark World Cup opens in La Thuile on 20 January 2019 with a Classic race.
