Have you ever dreamed of a slope only available for Telemark skiers or you would like to learn how to Telemark? Then you will be pleased to learn that Telemark Only makes it once again possible this season. They will rent the slopes from the Schilthorn to the Engetal exclusively for the Telemark Only Festival. This means 4 runs, a gondola and a 4-seater chair between 2'400 and 3'000m open from 08.00h to 14.00h.
The Schilthorn is a safe place regarding the snow pack. There is always a lot of snow in the beginning of May. Furthermore the festival will have a great event program, a telemark test village, avalanch and freeride training, lots of workshops and beginner classes which are highly recommended.
The purpose of the Telemark only Festival is to promote telemark skiing and to increase the number of telemark skiers in switzerland and all over the world.
