Telekidz event in Bardonecchia

Throwback to the first Telekidz event of the season in Bardonecchia within the framework of the FIS Snowkidz campaign. This first event dedicated to kids aiming to discover or improve their telemark skiing has been a success! A positive start for the Telekidz campaign all along this season.
Ricardo Torri, telemark ski instructor and organizer of the Telekidz said:
About 50 boys and girls between 8 and 12 took part in the Telekidz organised during the Mulegia telemark festival in Bardonecchia.
The youngsters from the various ski schools and clubs in Bardonecchia tried telemark for the first time, accompanied by telemark instructors Federico and Riccardo.
Duly equipped, they put their skills to the test with the telemark position in jump, slalom and game with the result of a lot of enthusiasm and surprise. Telemark freedom and agility of movement allowed kids to find very quickly the way to have fun! At the end of the day, everyone received their reward and expressed their desire to come back soon and progress with telemark!
