Invitation and participation in events
Jun 28, 2023·Alpine SkiingAn athlete's life is a busy one. Between the various training sessions, media obligations and sponsor days, time for yourself is sometimes rare. But it's important to know how to make the most of it, and it’s not always easy to be able to reconcile partnerships with relaxation and leisure time.
In recent months, a number of athletes have traveled to events and they enjoyed a sporting environment in a different role to the one they have in the winter.
Marco Odermatt (SUI) and Dominik Paris (ITA) joined up in Monaco to enjoy the sun and Mediterranean air while watching the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
Both invited by their main sponsor, they were able to experience the event at the heart of the action and take a look behind the scenes.
On 27 May in the Dolomites, equipment manufacturer Energiapura organised a day to present the 2023 series.
Among the athletes present at the Energiapura children & kids serie Awards Day, there was the winner of the Slalom Crystal Globe, the Norwegians Lucas Braathen and the slalom World Champion Henrik Kristoffersen, as well as the Italians Filippo della Vita, Tobias Kastlunger and Max Blardone.
The weekend was a lively one, with a concert on the evening of 26th followed by a lively sports day. On several occasions, the athletes were seen dancing on the stage in front of the 800 people who had come to meet their favourite stars.
The Swiss slalom skier Wendy Holdener was present for the Tour de Suisse, where she welcomed and shared a moment with the cyclist Stefan Küng.
Meanwhile, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) was at the Nocco Training Day two weeks ago in Norway.
Atle Mc Grath (NOR) returned to team training and was able to enjoy not only his own fatigues but also the fatigues of others with the Giro D'Italia passing through Riva del Garda, the Italian resort that hosts them for summer training.
In addition to sport, there are also those who take the opportunity to participate in days to bring a smile to those who are facing difficult times and this was the case for Petra Vlhova (SVK).
